Move over Rothko! This wool textile panel was inspired by the ceremonial headdresses worn by Berber women in mid-century Morocco. This special work of art was created by women in the mountainous Anti-Atlas region where wool is the main livelihood of the community.
This piece, reminiscent of desert sunset, would be exceptionally beautiful framed in black in a large airy space, or simply hung on a wall for interest and texture.
Piece features slight imperfections as it is handwoven and hand-painted.
